Congratulations to everyone who particpated in the graduation ceremony at Stormont!

Typically, participants have included owner-managers, entrepreneurs and corporate managers from a diverse range of clients throughout the UK and Northern Ireland including household names such as firstsource, Coca-Cola, the Musgrave Group and Axa Insurance.

The Celebrating Success event also recognised this year’s highest achiever through the Star Award, which was awarded to Portadown dentist Derek Maguire.

Derek was presented with an iPad2 and spoke of the benefits of the Programme to SMEs in Northern Ireland. He said: “The Effective Manager Programme focused our minds on improving patient care through core business development, particularly customer service, team-building, sales and future planning. It has been invaluable in helping us grow and develop the practice through setting objectives and targets”.
